Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Almond flour
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (optional, for brushing)
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir to combine. If the cheese is not fully melted, microwave in 20-second intervals until smooth.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, mix together the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.

Step 4

Add the egg to the almond flour mixture and stir until combined. Pour in the melted cheese mixture and knead the dough using your hands until a uniform dough forms. If the dough is sticky, lightly oil your hands to make it easier to handle.

Step 5

Divide the dough into 10 equal portions and roll into balls. Place each ball onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough balls are golden brown and firm to the touch.

Step 7

If desired, melt the butter and brush it over the baked dough balls, then sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.

Step 8

Serve warm and enjoy! Pair with a low-carb dipping sauce or serve plain as a delicious snack.
