Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (6 oz each) sirloin steak
  • 1 cup shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves (minced) garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoons (divided) salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons (chopped, for garnish) fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Remove the sirloin steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for 15 minutes. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Step 2

Season the steaks on both sides with 1 teaspoon of salt and the black pepper. Set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the steaks in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your preferred doneness.
