Ingredients

  • 500 g Fish fillet (cod or tilapia)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese
  • 60 g Almond flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Dried parsley
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Ensure your fish fillets are skinless and boneless, then chop them into small pieces.

Step 3

In a food processor, add the fish pieces and pulse until finely minced.

Step 4

In a large bowl, combine the minced fish with the egg, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Step 5

Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls about 1 inch in diameter and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6

Brush the tops of the meatballs lightly with olive oil to help them brown during baking.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are firm and slightly golden.

Step 8

Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these savory fish meatballs with a low-carb dipping sauce or a side of your choice.
