Ingredients

  • 500 grams Chicken breast
  • 500 grams Beef sirloin
  • 1 large Red bell pepper
  • 1 large Green bell pepper
  • 1 large Red onion
  • 1 large Zucchini
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 16 pieces Wooden skewers

Directions

Step 1

Soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.

Step 2

Cut the chicken breast and beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes and place them into two separate bowls.

Step 3

In a small mixing bowl, prepare the marinade by combining olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.

Step 4

Pour half of the marinade over the chicken and the other half over the beef. Mix well to ensure all pieces are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Step 5

While the meat is marinating, cut the red bell pepper, green bell pepper, red onion, and zucchini into 1-inch pieces.

Step 6

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Step 7

Thread the marinated chicken, beef, and vegetables alternately onto the soaked skewers.

Step 8

Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 10 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked through and the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

Step 9

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Step 10

Serve the low-carb mixed kebabs hot, garnished with a wedge of lemon if desired.
