Ingredients

  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 1 whole Large egg
  • 1 pound Ground pork sausage
  • 1 teaspoon Dried sage
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 whole Egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, salt, and xanthan gum. Mix well and set aside.

Step 3

In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese.

Step 4

Microwave the cheese mixture in 30-second intervals until melted. Stir until smooth.

Add the cheese mixture to the dry ingredients along with the egg, and knead to form a dough.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground pork sausage until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
