Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large head cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5 minutes until they are just tender. Drain and set aside.

Step 3

In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary and remove the beef from the skillet.

Step 4

In the same skillet, add the butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the heavy cream and cream cheese. Cook, stirring frequently, until the cream cheese is melted and smooth.

Step 5

Add the shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet and stir continuously until it is completely melted and the sauce is smooth.

Step 6

Season the cheese sauce with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

Step 7

Add the cooked ground beef and the drained cauliflower florets into the skillet with the cheese sauce. Stir until all ingredients are well combined and the cauliflower is well coated.

Step 8

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese topping is bubbly and golden brown.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley for added freshness.
