Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 head Iceberg lettuce
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese slices
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 0.5 medium Red onion
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons Sugar-free ketchup
  • 8 slices Dill pickle slices

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until the seasonings are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

Step 2

Divide the beef mixture into four equal parts and form each part into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

Step 3

Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Place the burger patties in the hot skillet and sear for about 4 minutes on the first side until browned.

Step 5

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each. Continue cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired level of doneness.

Step 6

While the burgers are cooking, prepare the lettuce. Carefully peel off 8 large leaves from the head of iceberg lettuce. Rinse and pat them dry.

Step 7

Slice the tomato and red onion into thin slices.

Step 8

To assemble each burger, place one lettuce leaf on a serving plate, spoon about 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, and 1 tablespoon of sugar-free ketchup in the center.

Step 9

Place a cooked beef patty on top of the dressings, top with slices of tomato, onion, and pickles, and finally cover with another lettuce leaf to create your wrap.

Step 10

Repeat the assembly process for the remaining burgers, serve immediately and enjoy your delicious, low-carb lettuce-wrapped burgers.
