Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 1 large Egg
  • 50 grams Almond flour
  • 1 small, grated Onion
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, almond flour, grated onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and chopped cilantro.

Step 2

Add the cumin, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the mixture. Mix well using a spoon or your hands until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about the size of your palm.

Step 4

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Once the oil is hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet. Ensure not to overcrowd the pan to allow even cooking. You may have to cook them in batches.

Step 6

Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 7

Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.

Step 8

Serve the Ktzitzot Oaf hot, garnished with additional fresh herbs if desired, alongside a fresh salad or your preferred low-carb side dish.
