Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 0.25 cup Almond flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.25 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 large Lettuce leaves

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, almond flour, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Step 2

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3/4-inch thick.

Step 3

Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 4

Once the oil is hot, add the turkey patties to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the burgers are evenly browned.

Step 5

Remove the burgers from the skillet and let them rest for a minute or two.

Step 6

Serve each turkey burger wrapped in a large lettuce leaf. Add your preferred low carb toppings such as avocado slices, tomato, or cheese, and enjoy!
