Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup, chopped Onion
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 0.5 piece, finely chopped Scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Allspice
  • 1 teaspoon, dried Thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 cup Coconut flour
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup, melted Unsalted butter
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 0.25 cup Beef stock

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the coconut oil. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.

Step 3

Add the ground beef, scotch bonnet pepper, curry powder, allspice, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked through.

Step 4

Pour in the beef stock, stirring to combine, and let simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Step 5

In a mixing bowl, combine coconut flour, almond flour, and baking powder.

Step 6

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in the melted butter and water. Gradually combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.

Step 7

Divide the dough into 6 equal parts. Roll out each piece between two sheets of parchment paper to form thin discs.

Step 8

Place a portion of the meat mixture onto one half of each disc, then fold the dough over to cover it, pinching the edges to seal and form a half-moon shape.

Step 9

Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 10

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.

Step 11

Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
