  • 500 grams Beef chuck steak
  • 0 to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 large, diced Onion
  • 2 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 250 milliliters Beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 150 grams Almond flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 50 grams Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 beaten, for egg wash Egg

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

Step 2

Season the beef chuck steak with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until the onion becomes translucent.

Add the seared beef back to the skillet, then pour in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Stir well to combine.
