Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 1 cup Blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Low-carb sweetener (e.g., erythritol or monk fruit sweetener)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 150°F (65°C) or the lowest setting it can go. This will help dehydrate the fruit leather slowly to maintain its nutrients and flavor.

Step 2

Wash all the berries thoroughly and remove any stems or leaves. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Step 3

Place the mixed berries and blackberries in a blender or food processor. Blend until the berries are completely pureed and smooth.

Step 4

Add the lemon juice and the low-carb sweetener to the berry puree. Blend again for a few seconds to ensure everything is well-mixed.

Step 5

Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. Pour the berry mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out into an even layer about 1/8 inch thick.

Step 6

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and let it dehydrate for around 6 hours. Check occasionally to ensure the fruit leather is not drying out too quickly. It should be done when it is no longer sticky to the touch and can easily be peeled from the mat.

Step 7

Once done, remove the fruit leather from the oven and allow it to cool completely.

Step 8

Using kitchen scissors or a sharp knife, cut the fruit leather into strips or desired shapes. Roll the strips in parchment paper to prevent sticking and store them in an airtight container.

Step 9

Enjoy your healthy, low-carb fruit leather as a convenient snack any time!
