Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried sage
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, fresh parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried sage, ground black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.

Step 2

Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands or a fork until fully combined. Do not over-mix as it may result in dense patties.

Step 3

Divide the mixture into eight equal portions. Shape each portion into a round patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 4

Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Step 5

Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the skillet. Cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the patties are golden brown on the outside and the internal temperature reads 165°F (75°C).

Step 6

Remove the sausage patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess oil.

Step 7

Serve the low carb chicken sausage patties warm. They are perfect alongside eggs or as a protein-packed addition to any meal.
