Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground beef

  • 1 medium Green bell pepper, diced
  • 14.5 ounces Canned diced tomatoes, with juice
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 15 ounces Canned black soybeans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons Chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil and heat until shimmering.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
