Ingredients

  • 2 slices low carb bread
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 ounces thinly sliced ham
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon mayonnaise

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2

Spread 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter on one side of each slice of low carb bread.

Step 3

Place one slice of bread butter-side down onto the skillet.

Step 4

Spread the Dijon mustard evenly over the unbuttered side of the slice in the skillet.

Step 5

Layer the thinly sliced ham evenly over the mustard.

Step 6

Place the cheddar cheese slices on top of the ham.

Step 7

Spread the mayonnaise on the unbuttered side of the second slice of bread and place it on top of the stack, butter-side up.
