Ingredients

  • 2 slices Almond flour bread slice
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 slices Ham slice
  • 1 medium Avocado
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Step 2

Lightly butter each side of the almond flour bread slices using half of the butter.

Step 3

Place the buttered bread slices in the hot pan and toast for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the slices and set aside.

Step 4

In the same pan, place the slices of ham and sear each side for about 1 minute until slightly crisp. Set the ham aside.

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Add lemon juice, salt, and black pepper, then mash the avocado until smooth.
