Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 1 cup Avocado oil (for frying)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, olive oil, and water until fully combined.

Step 3

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. The dough should be soft but not too sticky.

Step 4

Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out to about 1/8 inch thickness using a rolling pin.

Step 5

Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips, about 1/2 inch wide and 3 inches long.

Step 6

Heat the avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).

Step 7

Carefully place a few wonton strips into the hot oil using tongs, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.

Step 8

Fry the strips for about 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Step 9

Remove the fried wonton strips from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Step 10

Repeat the frying process with the remaining strips.

Step 11

Allow the fried wonton strips to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them as a crunchy snack or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
