  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro

Directions

Step 1

Begin by finely chopping half an onion and one bell pepper, and mincing two garlic cloves. Set these aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for another 1 minute, until the garlic becomes aromatic.

Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add 1 pound of ground turkey to the pan. Cook, breaking up the meat with a spatula, for about 5-6 minutes or until it is browned and mostly cooked through.
