Ingredients

  • 300 grams Button mushrooms
  • 100 grams Almond flour
  • 50 grams Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 4 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon White vinegar
  • 2 stalks Spring onions

Directions

Step 1

Clean the button mushrooms with a damp cloth and cut them into halves.

Step 2

In a bowl, combine almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Step 3

In another bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.

Step 4

Dip each mushroom half into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the almond flour mixture.

Step 5

Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the coated mushrooms in batches until golden and crispy on all sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
