Ingredients

  • 2 cups Turnips, peeled and diced

  • 4 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons Green onions, sliced (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.

Step 2

Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add cauliflower florets and diced turnips to the pot, stirring to coat them in the butter and onion mixture.
