  • 1 large head Cauliflower
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.25 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chives

Directions

Step 1

Begin by cutting the cauliflower head into florets. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water.

Place the cauliflower florets into a large pot. Add enough water to cover the florets by at least one inch.

Step 3

Peel the garlic cloves and add them whole to the pot with the cauliflower.

Step 4

Bring the pot to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes or until cauliflower is fork-tender.

While the cauliflower is cooking, fry the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. This should take about 6-8 minutes. Set the bacon aside on a paper towel-lined plate to cool and drain.
