Ingredients

  • 12 large White or cremini mushrooms
  • 120 grams Cream cheese, softened
  • 30 grams Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Set aside the caps and finely chop the stems.

Step 3

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped mushroom stems, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 4

Use a teaspoon or piping bag to fill each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, slightly mounding the filling over the top.

Step 5

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the tops for added flavor and to help with browning.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are cooked through and the tops are golden brown.

Step 7

Allow the mushrooms to cool for a few minutes before serving. They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
