Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Almond flour
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Stir continuously until the cheeses have melted and are well combined. Remove from heat.

Step 3

In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, garlic powder, baking powder, and salt.

Step 4

Add the melted cheese mixture and the egg to the dry ingredients. Mix well until a dough forms. It might be sticky but should hold together.

Step 5

Transfer the dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Press the dough evenly into a rectangular shape, approximately 1/4 inch thick.

Step 6

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges begin to turn golden brown.

Step 7

While the bread is baking, mix the melted butter and chopped parsley together in a small bowl.

Step 8

Once the bread is done, remove it from the oven and immediately brush the top with the butter and parsley mixture. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese evenly over the top.

Step 9

Allow the bread to cool slightly, then cut into strips and serve warm.
