Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lump crab meat
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons heavy cream
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease two ramekins or small baking dishes.

Step 2

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, heavy cream, egg yolk, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Step 3

Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful not to break up the large pieces. Mix just enough to combine.

Step 4

Evenly divide the crab mixture into the two prepared ramekins, smoothing the tops with a spoon.

Step 5

Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the crab mixture, and sprinkle with the shredded Parmesan cheese.

Step 6

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and bubbly.

Step 7

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with additional parsley or a pinch of paprika for presentation.
