Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Almond flour
  • 0.25 cups Coconut flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt
  • 0.5 cups Granulated erythritol sweetener
  • 0.75 cups Unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.25 cups Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cups Coconut oil for frying

Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, and half of the granulated erythritol sweetener.

Step 2

In another bowl, beat the eggs thoroughly and add in the unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.

Step 3

Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing gently until a smooth batter forms.

Step 4

Preheat your oil in a deep skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Step 5

Spoon the batter into a piping bag with a large round tip or use a zip-top bag with one corner cut off.

Step 6

Pipe the batter into silicone doughnut molds or make circles directly into the hot oil only a few at a time to prevent overcrowding.

Step 7

Fry each doughnut for about 1-2 minutes per side or until golden brown, then remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 8

While still warm, blend the remaining granulated erythritol sweetener with cinnamon in a small bowl and toss each doughnut lightly to coat completely.

Step 9

Allow the doughnuts to cool slightly, and enjoy your low-carb classic sugar doughnuts!
