Ingredients

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 250 g Ground pork
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • 1 large Egg
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
  • 2 cups Low-carb marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 4 pieces Keto-friendly sub rolls
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil, chopped (optional for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil.

Mix the ingredients until fully combined, being careful not to overmix as this can make the meatballs tough.

Form the mixture into approximately 16 equal-sized meatballs.

In a large oven-safe skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
