Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup pork rinds
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2

Place the pork rinds in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Alternatively, place them in a resealable bag and crush with a rolling pin.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 4

Shape the meat mixture into 4 equal-sized oval cutlets.

Step 5

On a plate, mix together the crushed pork rinds and grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 6

Take each cutlet and press firmly into the pork rind and cheese mixture, ensuring a good coating on all sides.

Step 7

Heat the olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 8

Once hot, add the coated cutlets into the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until the coating is golden brown.

Step 9

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake the cutlets for an additional 10 minutes to ensure they are cooked through.

Step 10

Remove the cutlets from the oven and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
