Ingredients

  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoons Psyllium husk powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.75 cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Ghee or coconut oil for frying

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, and salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution.

Step 2

Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients while stirring. Mix until a soft dough forms. The dough should be pliable but not sticky.

Step 3

Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape them into small balls.

Step 4

Place a ball of dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out gently into a small circle, about 4 inches in diameter and 1/8-inch thick.

Step 5

Heat ghee or coconut oil in a deep frying pan or wok over medium heat.

Step 6

Carefully slide the rolled puri into the hot oil. It should puff up within seconds. Gently press the puri with a slotted spoon to help it puff evenly.

Step 7

Fry the puri until golden brown, flipping once, about 1 minute per side.

Step 8

Remove the puri from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Step 9

Repeat with the remaining dough balls.

Step 10

Serve hot with your favorite curry or side dish.
