Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped green onions (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Crack the eggs into a medium-sized bowl. Add the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the mixture thoroughly until the yolks and whites are fully combined and slightly frothy.

Step 2

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and add the butter. Allow the butter to melt and coat the bottom of the pan, but ensure it does not brown.

Step 3

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Allow the edges to set slightly, then gently stir with a spatula, pulling the cooked edges towards the center.

Step 4

As the eggs continue to cook, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Slowly scrape the spatula across the bottom of the pan, folding the eggs over the cheese as you go.

Step 5

Continue cooking and gently folding the eggs until they are softly set and the cheese has melted completely. The eggs should appear creamy and slightly runny.

Step 6

Remove from heat immediately to prevent further cooking.

Step 7

Transfer the scramble to plates and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired. Serve hot.
