Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix them well until evenly distributed.

Step 3

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and combined.

Step 4

Add the melted cheese mixture into the flour mixture. Stir to start combining.

Step 5

In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy. Add the egg whites, melted butter, and sour cream to the flour-cheese mixture.

Step 6

Mix the ingredients thoroughly using a spatula or hands until you form a smooth dough. If the dough is too sticky, let it cool for a bit or dust lightly with additional almond flour.

Step 7

Divide the dough into 10 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and firm to the touch.

Step 9

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a pat of butter.
