  • 1 cup Sugar-free BBQ sauce

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Step 2

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs: use a knife to gently lift it, then grab it with a paper towel and pull it off.

Step 3

In a small bowl, mix together the smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper.

Step 4

Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel, then rub olive oil over both sides.

Step 5

Generously coat the ribs with the spice rub, making sure to cover all areas.

Step 6

Wrap the ribs with aluminum foil, sealing them completely, and place them on a baking sheet.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours until the ribs are tender.

Step 8

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully open the foil.

Step 9

Increase the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).

Step 10

Brush the ribs with the sugar-free BBQ sauce.

Step 11

Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 30 minutes, basting once more with BBQ sauce halfway through.

Step 12

Remove from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
