Ingredients

  • 3 medium Zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 225°F (110°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

Wash and thinly slice the zucchinis into chips using a mandoline or a sharp knife, approximately 1/8 inch thick.

Step 3

Place the zucchini slices in a bowl, add olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the zucchini slices are evenly coated.

Step 4

Arrange the zucchini slices on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, making sure they do not overlap.

Step 5

Bake in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, flipping them halfway through cooking until the chips are golden brown and crisp. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the slices and moisture content.

Step 6

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the paprika, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and chaat masala.

Step 7

Once the zucchini chips are done baking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl while they are still hot. Sprinkle the masala spice mix over the warm chips and drizzle lemon juice on top. Toss gently to coat them evenly with the spices.

Step 8

Let the chips cool slightly; they will become crisper as they cool.

Step 9

Garnish with fresh cilantro, serve immediately, and enjoy your healthy, low-carb masala chips!
