Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground chicken
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.25 cup Coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 2 stalks Green onion
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated

Directions

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken with almond flour, coconut flour, egg, cream cheese, sliced green onion, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until ingredients are well combined and form a dough-like consistency.

Step 2

Using your hands, form small dumpling balls approximately 1 inch in diameter from the chicken mixture. Set aside on a plate.

Step 3

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the dumplings in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside once cooked.

Step 4

In the same pan, add chicken broth, soy sauce, and grated ginger. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.

Step 5

Carefully add the browned dumplings back into the broth. Reduce heat to low and cover the pan.

Step 6

Let the dumplings simmer in the broth for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and fully infused with the broth's flavors.

Step 7

Serve the dumplings in bowls with some of the broth and garnish with additional sliced green onions if desired.
