Ingredients

  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 0.25 cup Melted unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Mix until fully combined.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and sour cream until smooth and well combined.

Step 4

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.

Step 5

Fold in 1 cup of shredded mozzarella and the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing well.

Step 6

Transfer dough to a flat surface. Form it into golf-ball-sized portions and drop half of them into the prepared loaf pan, ensuring they are loosely stacked to allow for pull-apart sections.

Step 7

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, chopped parsley, and chopped basil. Drizzle half of this mixture over the dough balls in the pan.

Step 8

Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the remaining mozzarella cheese over the first layer of dough balls.

Step 9

Add the remaining dough balls to the pan, then drizzle with the rest of the herb oil mixture. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.

Step 10

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.

Step 11

Allow to cool slightly in the pan before serving. Enjoy your low-carb cheesy garlic herb pull-apart bread with a side of marinara sauce or as desired.
