Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Almond flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 cups of mozzarella cheese and 2 tablespoons of cream cheese. Microwave on high for about 1 minute or until melted and smooth when stirred.

Step 3

Add 1 cup of almond flour, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 0.25 teaspoon of pepper to the cheese mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

Step 4

Transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper. Place another sheet of parchment paper on top and roll out the dough into a flatbread shape of about 1/4 inch thick using a rolling pin.

Step 5

Remove the top parchment paper and transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6

Sprinkle 0.5 cup of grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the dough.

Step 7

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley.

Step 9

Allow the flatbread to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
