Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized head Green cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 1 medium, finely chopped Onion
  • 3 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 1 inch piece, grated Ginger
  • 1 large, chopped Tomato
  • 2 teaspoons Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup Water
  • 0.25 cup, chopped Cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Directions

Step 1

Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage, then cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the core. Thinly slice each quarter to create shreds.

Heat coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté for 5 minutes until translucent.

Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
