Directions

Step 1

Begin by preparing your vegetables. Chop the broccoli into smaller florets and set aside, including the stalks which should be peeled and sliced.

In a large soup pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and celery, and sauté for about 5 minutes until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.
