Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 0.5 teaspoon xanthan gum

Directions

Step 1

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and 1 tablespoon of the freshly ground black pepper. Set aside.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef, season with a pinch of salt if desired, and stir-fry until browned and just cooked through, approximately 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until aromatic.

Sprinkle the dish with chopped green onions and the remaining tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper before serving.
