Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Almond flour
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cream cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 4 ounces Biltong, sliced thinly
  • 0.5 cup Tomato sauce (sugar-free)
  • 1.5 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1.5 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese and 2 tablespoons of cream cheese. Microwave for about 1 minute, stirring halfway through, until the cheese is fully melted and smooth.

Step 3

Add 1.5 cups of almond flour, 1 large egg, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and the melted cheese mixture into a mixing bowl. Knead the ingredients together until a smooth dough forms.

Step 4

Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a 12-inch circle. Transfer the rolled dough to the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5

Bake the dough in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden.

Step 6

Remove the crust from the oven and brush with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Spread 0.5 cup of sugar-free tomato sauce evenly over the baked crust.

Step 7

Sprinkle 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the sauce. Distribute the 4 ounces of sliced biltong evenly over the cheese.

Step 8

Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Step 9

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with 0.25 cup of fresh basil leaves.

Step 10

Cut the pizza into slices and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper before serving.
