Ingredients

  • 500 grams Ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 3 stalks Green onions, chopped
  • 100 grams Water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper, diced
  • 12 leaves Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.

Step 2

Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
