  • 3 medium Tomatoes

  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 0.75 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 cup Water

Directions

Step 1

Peel and dice the turnips into 1-inch cubes.

Step 2

Finely chop the tomatoes and green chili.

Step 3

Peel and grate or mince the ginger and garlic.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Step 5

Add ginger and garlic, sauté for a minute until fragrant.

Add chopped green chili, sauté briefly.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
