Ingredients

  • 500 grams lean ground turkey
  • 1 large egg white
  • 30 grams rolled oats (blended into oat flour)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0 cooking spray

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lean ground turkey, egg white, oat flour, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

Step 3

Using a tablespoon or a small scoop, portion out the mixture and roll it into bite-sized meatballs. Place each meatball on the prepared baking sheet, making sure to leave a little space between them.

Step 4

Lightly spray the meatballs with cooking spray to help them brown in the oven.

Step 5

Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Step 6

Remove from the oven and let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Step 7

Serve with your favorite low-calorie marinara sauce, over zucchini noodles, or as a healthy snack on their own.
