Ingredients

  • 1 box Devil's Food cake mix
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) Instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 0.25 cup Kahlúa (coffee liqueur)
  • 0.25 cup Vodka
  • 1 cup Confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Kahlúa (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan or spray it generously with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Devil's Food cake mix and instant chocolate pudding mix. Stir to combine.

Step 3

Add the eggs, vegetable oil, water, 1/4 cup of Kahlúa, and vodka to the dry ingredients. Using an electric mixer, beat on low speed for about 30 seconds to combine, then increase the speed to medium and beat for 2-3 minutes until the batter is smooth.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

Step 5

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Step 6

Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes. Then carefully invert the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 7

While the cake cools, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the confectioners' sugar, milk, and remaining tablespoon of Kahlúa. Mix until smooth and slightly thickened.

Step 8

Once the cake has cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top, allowing it to run down the sides of the cake.

Step 9

Let the glaze set for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
