Ingredients

  • 500 grams Liver (beef, chicken, or lamb)
  • 2 medium-sized Onions
  • 2 medium-sized Tomatoes
  • 4 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 pieces Green chilies
  • 3 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro (coriander leaves)
  • 250 milliliters Water

Directions

Step 1

Clean the liver thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Rinse under cold water and set aside.

Step 2

Peel and finely chop the onions. Dice the tomatoes. Mince the garlic, ginger, and green chilies into a fine paste.

Step 3

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat.

Add the cumin seeds and sauté them until they start to sizzle and release their aroma.
