Ingredients

  • 4 pieces red chili peppers (fresh)
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 0.5 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Directions

Step 1

Remove the stems from the red chili peppers and roughly chop them. Keep the seeds if you want a spicier sauce.

Step 2

Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves.

Step 3

In a small food processor or blender, combine the chopped chili peppers, garlic, and grated ginger. Blend until finely minced.

Step 4

In a small saucepan, combine the minced chili mixture, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, water, and red chili flakes.

Heat the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
