Ingredients

  • 1 piece (12-inch) Pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 piece Red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 piece Green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 0.5 piece Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup Black olives, sliced
  • 0.5 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup Fresh spinach leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoons Dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoons Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or an inverted baking sheet in the oven to heat up.

Step 2

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer it to a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.

Step 3

Brush the surface of the dough with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and evenly spread the minced garlic over it.

Step 4

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about a 1-inch margin around the edges.

Step 5

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, ensuring even coverage.

Step 6

Arrange the sliced red and green bell peppers, red onion, black olives, cherry tomatoes, and fresh spinach leaves evenly on top of the cheese.

Step 7

Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the toppings and sprinkle with dried oregano. If desired, add crushed red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.

Step 8

Carefully transfer the pizza (with the parchment paper) onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven.

Step 9

Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown, the cheese is melted, and the edges are slightly crisp.

Step 10

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 2–3 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
