Ingredients

  • 16 oz Lump crab meat
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 stalks Green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Ground black pepper
  • 0.5 cup Panko breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
  • 2 tbsp Butter (optional, for breadcrumbs)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

Step 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

Add the shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped green onions, minced garlic, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.

Step 4

Carefully fold in the lump crab meat, ensuring it's evenly distributed without breaking up the chunks too much.

Step 5

Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish or skillet, spreading it out evenly.

Step 6

If using panko breadcrumbs for added crunch, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter in a small bowl and sprinkle the mixture on top of the dip.

Step 7

Bake the crab dip in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until it is hot and bubbling. If desired, turn on the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes to achieve a golden brown top.

Step 8

Remove from the oven and let the dip cool for a few minutes before serving.

Step 9

Serve with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or fresh vegetables for dipping. Enjoy!
