Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (8-10 oz each) Ribeye steak
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces (sliced) Cremini mushrooms
  • 3 cloves (minced) Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 3 cups Marsala wine
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons (chopped) Fresh parsley

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F). Clean the grates and lightly oil them to prevent sticking.

Step 2

Drizzle the ribeye steaks with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle evenly with kosher salt and black pepper, then let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare (or adjust the cooking time to your desired doneness). Remove the steaks from the grill, tent them with foil, and let them rest while you prepare the Marsala sauce.

Step 4

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced cremini mushrooms and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned and softened.

Step 5

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, until fragrant.

Step 6

Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and garlic, stirring to coat them evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes to toast the flour slightly.

Step 7

Slowly pour the Marsala wine into the skillet, scraping any browned bits from the bottom. Simmer over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until the wine reduces by half.

Step 8

Add the beef broth and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to combine. Simmer for another 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.

Step 9

Stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and season the sauce with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Step 10

Transfer the grilled steaks to serving plates and spoon the Marsala sauce generously over them.

Step 11

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
