  • 12 ounces linguini
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 0.25 cups white wine (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 large lemon (zested and juiced)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.

Step 2

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3

Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
