  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 0.5 cup dry white wine
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)

Directions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and are just cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside on a plate.
